Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium sweet onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by thinly slicing the ribeye steak against the grain. Chop the onion and green pepper into strips.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and green peppers; sauté until softened and caramelized (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet. Add the sliced ribeye steak to the other side, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned (approximately 3-5 minutes).
  4. Mix the cooked steak with the vegetables in the skillet. Top with provolone cheese slices and cover until melted (about 1-2 minutes).
  5. Slice hoagie rolls open lengthwise without cutting all the way through. Fill each roll generously with the cheesy ribeye mixture.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite sides like chips or fries.
