Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup black olives (sliced)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs in a saucepan covered with cold water over medium heat for 10-12 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath to cool.
  2. Peel the cooled eggs under running water, and cut each egg in half lengthwise. Scoop out the yolks into a bowl.
  3. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Pipe the filling back into the egg whites using a piping bag or plastic bag with a corner cut off.
  5. Garnish each egg with paprika and top with black olive slices to resemble spiders.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
