  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by rinsing the rice in cold water until clear.
  2. Cook the rice: Combine 1 cup of rinsed rice with 2 cups of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 18 minutes until fluffy.
  3. Season the steak with salt and pepper; let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
