  • 1 lb lean ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. Stir in most of the ketchup into the meat mixture for moisture.
  4. Spoon the mixture into each muffin cup until three-quarters full.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Top each muffin with a dollop of ketchup and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
