  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dough sheets
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • sour cream or guacamole for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and diced tomatoes; simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Unroll crescent dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet into a large circle, sealing seams.
  5. Spoon the meat mixture onto half of the dough, sprinkle cheese on top.
  6. Fold the other half of the dough over and pinch edges to seal.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown; cool slightly before slicing.
