  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Boil salted water in a large pot and cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease, then stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until creamy.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half the spaghetti, followed by half the meat sauce and dollops of the cheesy mixture. Repeat layers.
  5. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
