  • 4 (6 oz) fresh salmon fillets
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 fresh lemons (juiced and zested)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Add salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for about 4 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic and lemon juice to the skillet, simmer for 1 minute.
  4. Transfer the salmon to the prepared baking sheet. Top with remaining butter, salt, and pepper. Bake for 10-15 minutes until salmon flakes easily.
  5. Drizzle additional lemon juice over each fillet and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
