Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles (regular or no-boil)
  • 1 lb ground beef or sausage
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (whole milk)
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Set Instant Pot to sauté mode. Brown the ground meat for about 5-7 minutes and drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Layer a third of uncooked noodles over the meat sauce, followed by half the ricotta, one-third of mozzarella, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
  4. Repeat layers with another third of noodles, remaining ricotta, more mozzarella, and more seasoning. Top with the final layer of noodles.
  5. Pour any remaining sauce over the last noodle layer and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan.
  6. Close the lid, seal properly, and cook on high pressure for 25 minutes. Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes before opening.
