Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large flour tortilla
  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey/plant-based alternative)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (preferably Roma)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil (vegetable or canola)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning according to package instructions.
  2. Lay the tortilla flat on a clean surface. Add seasoned beef in the center, then layer with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream.
  3. Fold the edges of the tortilla inward towards the center to create pleats, ensuring it is tightly sealed.
  4. Heat oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place the crunchwrap seam-side down and cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Carefully flip using a spatula and cook for another 3-4 minutes until both sides are crispy.
  6. Let cool slightly before slicing in half and enjoy!
