  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion and measuring out spices.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the chopped onions until translucent (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, seasoning with garlic powder, cumin, and chili powder. Cook until browned (about 6-8 minutes).
  4. Assemble the quesadillas by placing some beef mixture on one half of each tortilla, topping it with shredded cheese before folding it.
  5. In a non-stick pan over medium heat, add more olive oil if needed and cook each folded quesadilla until golden brown on both sides (about 3-4 minutes per side).
