  • 8 slider buns
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the chuck roast on both sides until browned.
  2. Add diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet during the last minute of searing.
  3. Transfer to a Dutch oven or slow cooker; pour in beef broth and season with garlic powder, thyme, and black pepper. Cover and braise for 3-4 hours until fork-tender.
  4. Shred the beef with two forks. Slice slider buns in half and layer shredded beef on each bottom half. Top with Swiss cheese and return to the oven until melted.
