  • 6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  2. In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed, then sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Pour in heavy cream while scraping up any bits stuck to the pan. Stir continuously for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. For extra spice, add red pepper flakes if desired.
  5. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and add to the sauce along with sliced chicken pieces. Toss gently to coat.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
