  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano and thyme)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; sear until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (30 seconds). Add heavy cream and chicken broth; stir well.
  4. Mix in dried herbs and lemon juice; simmer gently while whisking in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over each piece, then transfer to the oven and bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let rest briefly before serving; garnish with fresh parsley.
