  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until combined.
  3. Add cold butter cubes and mix until crumbly.
  4. In another bowl, combine heavy cream, egg, vanilla extract, and orange zest. Stir into the dry mixture until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in cranberries. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape into a disc about 1 inch thick.
  6. Cut the dough into wedges or use a cookie cutter for round shapes. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
