  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, eggs, green onions, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Gently fold until mixed.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Shape into patties about 3 inches wide and 1 inch thick.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Drain excess oil on paper towels and serve hot with tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
