  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter (cooled)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar (for swirls)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth. Combine wet mixture with dry ingredients and stir gently.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl; sprinkle half over the batter. Add remaining batter on top and swirl gently.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown; a toothpick inserted should come out clean.
  6. For frosting, whip softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy. Drizzle over warm cake.
