  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 12 oz spaghetti or penne pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning blend
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your pasta by boiling salted water in a large pot. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sear until golden brown on both sides (5-7 minutes per side). Remove from pan and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Add marinara sauce and simmer gently.
  4. Toss drained pasta into the sauce until coated evenly.
  5. Slice the chicken and place on top of the pasta mixture. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan over everything.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake uncovered for about 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
