  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium sweet onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Sriracha sauce (optional for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced onions until translucent, then add green bell peppers and cook until softened.
  2. Add flank steak and cook until browned (about 5 minutes). Stir in soy sauce and garlic powder.
  3. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Place two tablespoons of filling in the center. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in sides tightly before rolling up completely.
  4. Heat about an inch of vegetable oil in a deep pan until shimmering. Fry eggrolls in batches for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with Sriracha sauce.
