  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder and flour; stir gently until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, cream softened butter with sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract, then add flour and chocolate chips until well mixed.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Dollop cookie dough on top and finish with remaining brownie batter.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out slightly moist.
  7. Let cool before cutting into squares and enjoy your delicious brookies!
