  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat (5-7 minutes) until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, half of the ricotta mixture, and half of the meat sauce. Repeat layers ending with meat sauce on top.
  6. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  7. Cover with foil; bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
