  • 8 oz egg noodles

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tsp olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the seasoned chicken breasts until golden brown (about 6–7 minutes per side). Ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add onions and mushrooms; sauté until softened (about 5 minutes). Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Whisk in flour, then gradually add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring continuously until smooth.
  5. Mix in cooked egg noodles and both cheeses until melted and combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, top with extra cheese, and bake for 20–25 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
