  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)

  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chopped onion in olive oil until translucent; add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add ground meat to the skillet and cook until browned, seasoning with salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika.
  5. Stir in cooked rice and tomato sauce until well combined.
  6. Fill each pepper with the mixture and place in a baking dish.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; then remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
