  • 1 can (28 oz) whole peeled tomatoes

  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve some pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet until well coated.
